About the prices

What counts as a transaction?

Each line on a bank or card statement: a deposit, a payment, a card purchase, a transfer. Most businesses can count one typical month's statements in a couple of minutes. If you're not sure, pick the band that feels closest and we will confirm it on the call.

What if my business grows into the next band?

Your price stays put for busy months. If you are in a higher band three months running, we tell you before the price changes, never after.

When do I pay for the tax return?

When it is filed, not up front. The same goes for 1099s. Monthly services are billed at the start of each month.

Is the payroll provider included?

No. You pay your payroll provider directly, so their price is never hidden inside ours. Our payroll fee covers running it and handling the filings.

Why publish prices at all?

Because you should know whether we're in your budget before you give up half an hour for a call. The consultation is for checking the details, not for finding out the price.
