Browsing the site

There are no accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers. The price estimator and the tax deadline calendar run entirely in your browser; your answers are not sent to us. They appear in the page address so you can bookmark or share a quote, and nowhere else.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of delivering them, as any web server does.

Booking a consultation

When you book, we keep what you enter (your name, email address, and anything optional such as a phone number, business name and notes) along with the time you chose and your time zone. If you came from the price estimator, a one-line summary of your estimate is kept with it. Bookings are stored in a database run by Cloudflare, which hosts this site.

When you book, we're notified by email through Loops, an email service, which handles the details of your booking to send that notice to us. We don't send you automated emails; everything you need is on the confirmation screen and in the calendar event you can add. Video calls take place on Jitsi Meet, in a private room made for your booking; nothing is shared with Jitsi until you join.

We use those details to prepare for and hold the call, and to send you a quote afterwards. We don't sell them, share them with anyone else or add you to a mailing list. To keep the booking form from being abused, we also keep a scrambled fingerprint of the internet address a booking came from, for one day only, then delete it. If the form shows a quick "are you human" check, that is Cloudflare Turnstile, which helps keep automated bookings out.

If you become a client

Your financial records are kept in your own bookkeeping and payroll accounts, under your control. We keep the working papers and returns we prepare for as long as tax law requires, and we never share them without your permission, except where the law obliges us to.

Asking about your data

To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, mention it on your call or in any email with us. You can cancel a booking at any time from the link on your confirmation screen, which is also in the calendar event.
